Need a PDF page in a presentation, on a website or in a form that accepts only images? Converting pages to pictures takes a minute with PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG.
JPG or PNG: which one?
JPG makes smaller files and is ideal for photographs, scanned pages and anything you want to share quickly. It uses slight compression, so very fine text can look a little softer.
PNG keeps every pixel, so lines and small writing stay perfectly sharp. It is the better pick for diagrams, charts, slides and screenshots. The price is a larger file.
How to convert
- Open PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG and add your PDF.
- Choose the image quality: Standard, High or Maximum.
- Press the convert button and wait while each page is drawn.
- Download the images. A multi-page PDF arrives as a ZIP with one picture per page.
Choosing the quality
- Standard: smaller files, good for screens, chat apps and social posts.
- High: sharper images for presentations and websites.
- Maximum: large files for print or when you need to zoom in.
Converting only one page
The tool converts every page. If you need just one, cut it out first with Extract Pages, then convert that small file. You will not have to sort through a ZIP full of images.
Going the other way
Have pictures and need a PDF? JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF do the reverse. If the resulting PDF is heavy, shrink it with Compress PDF.
Privacy
Pages are drawn by your own browser, so the document is not uploaded. That is useful for ID scans, statements and contracts.
