Sending five separate attachments is annoying for you and for the person who receives them. One tidy PDF is easier to read, easier to print and harder to lose. With Merge PDF you can join documents in under a minute, without installing anything.
When merging PDFs helps
- Job applications: CV, cover letter and certificates in one file.
- Invoices or receipts combined for an expense claim.
- Scanned pages that came out as separate files.
- Chapters or reports written by different people.
- Visa, school or bank applications that accept only a single upload.
How to merge PDF files
- Open the Merge PDF tool and add all your files. You can drag them in or click the box.
- Use the arrow buttons to put them in the order you want.
- Press Merge PDFs.
- Download your combined document.
Merging on a phone
The same tool works in a phone browser. Tap the upload box, pick the files from your storage and use the arrows to order them. If your documents are photos rather than PDFs, convert them first with JPG to PDF, then merge the results.
Things to watch out for
Password-protected files cannot be merged until the password is removed. Mixed page sizes are fine, but they look different when printed. If the final file is too large to email, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.
After you merge
A combined document often needs a little cleanup. Remove unwanted pages with Remove Pages, fix the order with Reorder Pages and finish with Add Page Numbers, so everyone can refer to the same page.
Is it private?
Yes. Merging happens inside your browser. Your documents are not uploaded to a server, which matters for contracts, ID scans and financial papers.
